Luke Wenke mailed the 10-page hand-drawn comic below from the Orleans County Jail to the judge overseeing his federal criminal case in July 2024. The story begins on the last page and works its way up. I suspect that the images reflect Wenke’s fantasy of how a court hearing would go if he had his way.
I’m the woman in the pearl necklace and with hideous bangs on page 2, and if you’re from Wenke’s area, you’ll likely recognise some of the other characters. The story contains all the typical false allegations and slanderous statements against Wenke’s favourite victims, as well as the usual batch of racist and homophobic slurs.
Wenke did get one thing almost right: I only appear in one frame, and in reality, I wouldn’t attend his court hearings, period, unless I really needed to. He’d enjoy that too much, and I’ve changed my appearance considerably in my ongoing attempts to throw him off my trail (hence why I haven’t posted a selfie in 3+ years). It’s extremely expensive and time consuming to thwart a stalker and attending court would likely mean having to start those efforts (as far as appearances go) back at square one.
